Founder /
CEO

Graham, a proud Kiwi born in Te Anga and raised in Morrinsville. He acquired his trade as a plumber and then swiftly transitioned into entrepreneurship, establishing various successful ventures from plastics manufacturing to boat building. However, Graham’s true passion emerged in recruitment, where he excelled in matching talents with opportunities. In 1998, he took a pivotal step into the recruiting world, revolutionising employer-candidate connections. Today, as the Director of The Success Group for over 25 years, Graham remains hands-on, ensuring top-notch service and the perfect fit for every job.

Melissa Pretorius

National Manager - Recruitment Division

Melissa is a passionate South African with a background in Hospitality Management, Team Leadership, and Recruitment.  Her drive is to ensure that she leads a top performing nationwide recruitment team who excel in identifying the ideal candidate for our clients and the perfect role for those searching for their next opportunity. With a focus on collaboration she encourages a close working relationship between Success Group and her clients. When she gets any time away from work, she relaxes with her family around home and at the beach.

Tyler Lord

National Business Development Manager

Tyler is the National Business Development Manager at Success HR. With a stellar academic background, including an APC in Business Management from the prestigious London School of Business and Administration (with Distinction) and a BBus from AUT, Tyler brings over six years of expertise in HR and Health & Safety. His passion for staying updated with Employment Relation Authority court cases ensures that Success HR’s clients are always ahead in the ever-evolving legislative landscape. Outside of work, Tyler loves spending time indulging in sports like football and golf.

Christi De La Porte

Permanent Recruitment Consultant

Christi is a highly motivated Permanent Recruitment Consultant at The Success Group. With a flair for eloquence and assertiveness, she thrives on challenges and excels under pressure. Having been a valued member of the team for over a year, she brings a wealth of experience and dedication to their role. Outside of work, she is an adventurous soul who embraces life to the fullest, and you can often find her enjoying a round of golf during her spare time.

Kim is an integral part of Success Group, serving as the Payroll/Accounts Administrator for the past one and a half years. With a background in the Motor Industry, Kim finds great joy in her role, appreciating the refreshing change it offers. A devoted mother of three and a cherished nanny to four grandchildren, Kim made the move from Wellington to Hamilton over four years ago. Outside of work, Kim’s passion lies in netball and singing, hobbies that bring her immense fulfilment.

Pastoral Care & Settlement Services Consultant

Polly brings a fresh perspective to her role in Pastoral Care and Settlement Services at Success Group, having joined the team nearly a year ago. Outside of work, Susan indulges in physical fitness, embracing the beach life in Whitianaga. Family and friends hold a significant place in her life, adding depth and joy to her journey.

With over two decades of experience in recruitment, he started his career with Phakisa Holdings in South Africa. Reuben joined The Success Group earlier this year as a Temp Employment Consultant in the Christchurch branch, collaborating closely with Kurt. With 2 years of experience in recruitment, Reuben’s passion for working with people is evident. Samantha, originally from South Africa joined our team as a Temp Employment Consultant. Starting her career as a contractor in a drawing office she ventured into establishing her own successful recruitment and outsourced payroll business. In 2016, she embraced a new chapter by relocating to New Zealand. Over the past 8 years, she has thrived in business development and talent acquisition roles, specialising in temporary civil recruitment. She excels in connecting top talent with opportunities across the Waikato region, leveraging her deep industry knowledge and networks.
