Supervisor

About the role:

Our client is looking for an experienced PM Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at their state-of-the-art cold storage facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL), cold storage processes, warehouse and distribution operations, food storage compliance, MPI regulations, audits, and export requirements. This role involves managing and developing a high-performing team, ensuring smooth warehouse operations, efficient workforce planning, and compliance with strict overseas market access requirements (OMARs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department.

  • Ensure key performance indicators (KPI's) are consistently met.

  • Internal and external audits to be conducted to ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards for primary industry products.

  • Equipment operation.

  • Blast freezer operations (experience preferred).

  • Document processes, engage with auditors, and ensure accurate compliance.

  • Manage and coordinate work schedules for the team.
