About the role:
Success Group Limited is seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join our team on a casual basis across Canterbury. As an Experienced Civil Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and helping to deliver high-quality infrastructure for our clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with a range of construction tasks such as excavation, demolition, and site preparation
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools to complete general labouring duties
- Providing support to tradespeople and other construction professionals as required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment at all times
- Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Civil Labourer
- Strong practical skills and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Familiarity with common construction tools and equipment
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A current driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites across Canterbury

Expected Duties:
- Concrete Placement:
- Accurately place concrete according to project specifications and plans.
- Use screeding tools and techniques to level and smooth concrete surfaces.
- Operate concrete vibrators to ensure proper consolidation and eliminate air pockets.
- Assist in setting up formwork and reinforcement.
- Concrete Finishing:
- Apply various finishing techniques (e.g., troweling, floating, edging) to achieve desired surface texture and appearance.
- Cure concrete using appropriate methods to ensure proper strength development.
- Seal and protect finished concrete surfaces as required.
- Kerb Installation:
- Set up and operate kerbing machines for accurate and efficient kerb placement.
- Ensure proper alignment and levelling of kerbs.
- Hand-finish kerbs to meet project specifications.
- Install associated drainage systems and features.
- General Labouring:
- Assist other team members with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Other General labouring and cleaning duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in concrete placement and finishing, with specific expertise in kerb installation.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to achieving precise and consistent results.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with other trades.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
- Safety Consciousness: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Valid Driver's License: Preferred for travel to various job sites.

Drivers
- Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

About the role:
Success Group Limited is seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company in the road transport industry.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely operating large commercial vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles
- Transporting a variety of goods and materials to and from distribution centres and customer sites
- Adhering to all relevant transport regulations and safety protocols
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to any issues or queries
- Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
What we're looking for:
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving commercial vehicles
- Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to handle the physical demands of the role
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules
